The largest and most populated island is Langkawi after which all the islands in the group are generally called. It lies 30 km west of Kuala Perlis on the mainland of Peninsular Malaysia, just below the maritime border with neighboring Thailand.

• Gardenview : feast your eyes on tropical splendor as lush foliage wave in unison with the breeze
• Poolview : the rooms face two beautifully landscaped open-air swimming pools
• Lakeview : the resort' s lake is a natural lake where flora and a host of tropical fishes abound
• Seaview : these are rooms that face the pristine blue sea, where the indomitable waves greet you every morning

There are 350 guest rooms, which are divided into 7 types of rooms and suites. They are :

• Kedah suites : 2 units
• Pelangi suites : 12 units
• Langkawi suites : 3 units
• Marina Club rooms : 19 rooms
• Commonwealth suites : 5 units
• Rooms with twin beds : 221 rooms
• Rooms with king-size beds : 88 rooms
• Check in time is after 2.00 pm. while check out time is at 12.00 noon.
